Service Monitor

MV Transportation seeks a Service Monitor to ensure safe, reliable transit operations across our passenger services. In this role, you will observe vehicle performance, monitor schedules and on-time performance, document incidents, and report service issues to dispatch and management. You will support operators in the field, verify compliance with safety and customer service standards, and assist passengers as needed. The Service Monitor helps maintain high-quality, accessible transportation that connects riders to essential work, healthcare, education, and community services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-time performance and service quality across assigned routes
• Conduct field observations of vehicles, operators, and passenger interactions
• Document and report incidents, delays, and safety concerns to dispatch and management
• Verify compliance with safety, accessibility, and customer service standards
• Assist operators and passengers in the field as needed
• Use scheduling/AVL or tracking systems to monitor service
• Prepare basic reports on performance trends and issues
• Communicate service disruptions and corrective actions to appropriate teams
