A premier group is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians (EM/ABEM only) to join a growing team at an award-winning, 495-bed Level 2 trauma center in northern Virginia, near Washington D.C. — a role opening up due to tremendous growth and high demand. As a 1099 physician, you won't work a fixed schedule — your contract sets a specific number of monthly hours, and shifts are built around your availability. You'll never be stretched thin: 5-6 clinicians staff the department at all times, seeing about 2 patients per hour across roughly 200 patients a day and 74,000 patients annually, with a large group of physicians and mid-levels sharing the load.

Full subspecialty backup — cardiology, closed ICU, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, inpatient psych, and neurology with vEEG — means you're never managing complex cases alone. Both local physicians and travelers are welcome.
