Position: SpED Para educator - IP - Temporary (12 hrs/week Wednesday and Friday)

SpED Para educator - IP - Temporary (12 hrs/week Wednesday and Friday)

Contract Type Temporary
Hours 12 hrs/week - Monday and Friday
Calendar 190 Day KAP Calendar
Hourly Salary $27.11 per hour

* hours per day is an average - daily schedules may vary based on student days

Para educator Requirements:

  • Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • 72 college level credits from an accredited institution
  • A score of 455 or higher on the ETS Para Pro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
    • If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the Para Pro Assessment, you can still apply. If you are the chosen finalist candidate you will have the opporutnity to take the test prior to being formally hired into the role.

Post Hire Requirements: Upon hire, para educators will be required to complete state required training offered through our KSD Professional Development Team.
