We are seeking a dedicated and flexible School Psychologist to join our team in Hartford, CT for the 2024/2025 school year. This part-time role involves conducting evaluations, assessments, and performing general psychological duties for a K-8th grade caseload. The position is onsite only, and hours can be adjusted to fit the candidate's schedule.
Responsibilities- Evaluations and Assessments:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments as needed for students within the K-8 grade range. - General Duties:
Perform standard psychological duties including observations, consultations, and contributing to IEP meetings. - Collaboration:
Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student mental health and educational needs.
- Licensure:
Masters degree in School Psychology and valid School Psychologist certification in Connecticut. - Experience:
Experience with K-8th grade students preferred. - Skills:
Strong assessment and evaluation skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently. - Flexibility:
Ability to adapt hours to meet the needs of the school and students, with flexibility in scheduling.
