Key

Qualifications:
  • Active Special Education Teacher certification/license (state-appropriate or eligibility to obtain)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Comfortable adapting to various educational approaches and IEPs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students' IEPs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, teachers, and support staff
  • Monitor and document student progress, modifying plans as needed
  • Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Advocate for students' diverse learning needs and foster self-advocacy skills
