Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for a position in the Fairfield, CT area. This role will involve providing specialized educational support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the individualized needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and support across various subjects and skill levels
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to address student progress and concerns

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Connecticut
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
