Hours:
9-10 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3:00pm-5:00pm
Wednesday – 12:45pm-3:15pm, 1pm-3:30pm, 1:35-3:55pm depending on school
Program runs September 14, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Duties:
Under the direction of the Youth and Teen Manager and Program Coordinator, Youth Leaders plan, organize and lead daily activities for children grades K-5th. After school programs consist of approximately 20-30 participants and 3 staff members. Activities include group games, sports, and arts and crafts.
Temporary employees with the City of Kent do not receive insurance or time off benefits outside of those which are legally mandated. In certain instances, temporary employees may be eligible for retirement benefits through the State of Washington's Department of Retirement Systems.
