Base pay: $148,200 / yr – $172,400 / yr
Responsibilities- Perform industry and market research to identify new products and business opportunities in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Become the resident expert on competitors and competitive offerings for assigned product areas.
- Become the resident expert on customer needs for assigned product areas.
- Conduct customer visits and research through paper studies and travel to understand market dynamics.
- Create new product strategies, including product strategy, project portfolio management, product roadmap, acquisition strategy, diversification strategy, and new product launch strategy.
- Perform new product financial valuation, develop product requirements documents (PRDs) with R&D, and project financial impact of new products.
- Manage lifecycle of current products, including defect corrections, compliance decisions, redesign versus life‑time‑buy decisions, and end‑of‑sale, end‑of‑life, and end‑of‑support coordination.
- Maintain exceptional written communication, influence senior stakeholders, and cultivate alignment across internal partners.
- Drive continuous improvement through NPI implementation retrospectives and post‑launch market retrospectives.
- Mentor other Product Managers and exercise high autonomy in complex, high‑impact product initiatives.
- Support up to 25% travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management or similar roles.
- Experience in manufacturing companies and market/industry research.
- Experience in developing product strategy and roadmap planning.
- Experience with customer‑centric solutions and product definitions.
- Experience working with engineering teams.
- Ability to navigate construction sites and hazardous environments.
- Strong communication skills, including technical concepts, trade‑off analysis, and business writing.
- Master’s degree in business (preferred).
- Experience with electronic measurement devices, systems, or products.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, construction, tools, or heavy industries.
- Experience with Voice of the Customer (VOC) or similar processes.
- Experience with project financial valuation tools and metrics.
- Experience in UX design, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams.
- Experience with project management methodologies, including Lean, Agile, and Scrum.
- Experience with project portfolio management.
- Experience as a designer in NPD.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana), bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).

DCI offers comprehensive compensation packages, including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit‑sharing bonuses. Base pay is reviewed at least annually. Pay range: $148,200 – $172,400 / yr. Profit‑sharing bonuses have ranged from 11% to 17% over the past three years.
