Position: Part Life Cycle Management Specialist

Part Lifecycle Management Specialist

Hypertherm Associates is hiring a Part Lifecycle Management Specialist to coordinate and manage the change control process for both new and existing products at our Kent, Washington facility. The role focuses on executing project readiness related to engineering change orders and effective introduction and deployment into operations.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Develop and communicate forecast information for supply chain readiness to support new product launches.
  • Coordinate forecast and lead the ramp down of materials for end‑of‑life products to limit liability.
  • Assess critical decisions using basic financial and accounting principles to understand and communicate how decisions affect the bottom line for the project and organization.
  • Coordinate stakeholders in engineering change order completion for new productsแลนด์ alignment with overall project readiness goals.
  • Be responsible for new item attribute selection and set‑up for make and purchased uppercase items to facilitate planning, purchasing and manufacturing readiness.
  • Manage engineering change order process for sustaining activities and be responsible for item template changes to support and facilitate communication to make/buy decisions.
  • Ensure integrity of item data by developing and leading standard review processes for supply‑chain item data in ERP and PLM.
  • Facilitate annual cost validation to ensure integrity of cost data prior to year‑end standard setting.

  • Partner with marketing in the determination of product obsolescence and lead the process within the BT.
  • Develop reporting utilizing available enterprise platforms, such as Power BI and Microsoft Queries.
  • Engage IT for tool development to streamline data review and maintenance.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ERP inventory, planning, and purchasing modules.
  • Collaborate with peers on standard work, tools, and processes to establish and maintain consistency across business units.
Who You Are and the Experience You Bring
  • 2+ years of planner/buyer experience in an electromechanical manufacturing setting or engineering project management.
  • Knowledge of and experience with engineering changes processes.
  • Expertise in PLM platform.
  • Knowledge of and experience with parts management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation andルト communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment with engineered parts.
Preferred Experience To Differentiate You
  • Green Belt certification.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean/JIT production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft database query tools. saúde

  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems.

Salary
$80,760.00 – $ annual. Base pay tightening that a new hire can expect to make upon hire; actual pay will vary based on experience, skills, education, and other factors.
