This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $40-$58 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $85,000–$120,000.

Senior Electrical Engineering Designer
, supporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical engineering projects under the guidance of Electrical Engineers/Project Managers. Projects will be located throughout the U.S. and will include power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects and Construction Project Managers.

You will be responsible for the production of electrical engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and site adjustments.

• Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Assist senior staff with the project approval process.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 4+ years of experience with electrical design for buildings; experience with commercial projects such as big box retail and grocery is highly preferred.
• EIT preferred
• Revit, MS Office required, AutoCAD is a plus
• Arc Flash/Short Circuit experience is a plus

This is a hybrid (1 or 2 days a week in the office) position based out of the following Core States Group offices:
Kent, Puyallup, or Bellevue, WA. We'd be open to a remote candidate living in Washington, where occasional travel to our Washington offices is possible.
