Electrical Test Engineer

SHIFT

Days but must be open to weekends

This position is for an Avionics/Electrical Test Engineer at a prominent Aerospace company.

• Configure avionics systems for test in thermal and vibration environmental testing chambers.
• Execute work orders to support system-level electrical validation of New Glenn avionics.
• Review and process data collected by test systems.
• Report findings in a standardized format.
• Identify and report non-conformance issues with test systems and units under test.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python to support data acquisition, test execution, and data post-processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and data acquisition systems during testing.

• Minimum of a B.S. in electrical, computer engineering or related field
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience operating and maintaining test chambers and automated test and measurement equipment
• Sound knowledge of electronics, electrical circuit fundamentals
• Sound knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, IEC & automotive standards or equivalent
• Familiar with hardware development life cycle
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Passion for hands‑on problem solving and avionics integration and test
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs
• Flexibility to support weekend shifts or non‑standard hours may be required based on program needs
