Quality Engineering Intern – Kent, WA, USA
PayHourly rate: $21–$24
Responsibilities- Support risk evaluation, risk mitigation and process monitoring activities utilizing data analysis, process monitoring, process control and continuous process improvement.
- Assist Quality Engineers with corrective action systems.
- Identify and implement composite manufacturing improvements.
- Perform quality inspection activities.
- Conduct engineering lab work using basic hand tools.
- Collect, analyze and summarize data and create basic test reports according to example format.
- Perform assigned tasks on schedule within budgeted hours.
- Supply visibility to management of potential problems.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with at least 2 years completed at an accredited college or university in engineering or a related field (e.g., statics, dynamics, strength of materials, calculus, statistics).
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Ability to multitask effectively within a team environment and manage priorities.
- Passionate about aerospace, manufacturing and innovation.
- Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self‑motivation and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
- Proficient in MS‑Excel, MS‑Word and MS‑PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
