Location: Kent, WA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $32 - $38/Hr
Mission:
- Creates and updates sketches, working drawings and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software.
- Prepares 2D and 3D models.
- Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications.
- Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
- Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints.
- Prepares documentation to support design drawings.
- Often requires experience with the specific design application in use by client base.
- Create and update 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, data sheets, and customer requirements
- Prepare and organize contract documents and supporting design documentation
- Revise existing drawings based on engineer direction or design changes
- Cross-reference drawings against specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with drafting techniques and basic engineering concepts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
