As part of a highly collaborative team, you will serve as a key technical interface between the production value stream and design engineering, ensuring smooth execution of hardware builds, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

** General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*** Provide hands-on support to a fast-paced production environment
* Lead troubleshooting and disposition of non-conforming (NC) avionics hardware, software, firmware, and electrical systems through detailed work instructions
* Drive isolation, containment, and resolution of NC parts and assemblies
* Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause corrective actions (RCCA) to prevent recurrence of manufacturing and hardware issues
* Support design and operational gated reviews by contributing to required technical artifacts and readiness assessments
* Collaborate with design engineering to implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) that improve manufacturability and reduce non-conformances
* Partner with design teams early in the development cycle to improve Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) prior to design release

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
* 3+ years of experience with complex electrical aerospace or space hardware
* Experience operating, diagnosing, and dispositioning non-conforming electrical hardware, harnesses, software, and/or firmware
* Strong understanding of electrical systems such as:
* High-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits
* Battery-based power systems (power management, switching, charging, safety)
* Embedded command and I/O systems for complex industrial or vehicle applications
* RF communication systems and components
* Experience with circuit analysis and simulation (e.g., worst-case analysis, signal integrity, logic simulation)
* Understanding of grounding, PCB layout principles, and EMI/EMC tradeoffs
* Experience applying DFMA principles in design development
* Strong communication, organization, and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
* Hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail and ownership of work
* Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges

*** Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
* 5+ years of experience with aerospace or space electrical systems
* Experience troubleshooting high-reliability, safety-critical electronics
* Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-600/610/620, J-STD-001, and DO-254
