Environmental Health & Safety Manager

A leading food manufacturing organization is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to support operations at its Kent, Washington facility. This person will be tasked with leading site-wide environmental, health, and safety programs while strengthening a proactive, injury-free culture. The role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and driving sustainable practices across the plant. It's a strong opportunity for an experienced EHS leader to make a visible impact at a complex manufacturing site.

• Lead and manage all environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs for the facility.
• Drive compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations while aligning with internal standards and policies.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training programs that promote an injury-free workplace.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, identifying trends and implementing preventive actions.
• Serve as a key partner to plant leadership and cross-functional teams, including facilitation of safety committees.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, or a related field.
• At least five years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations with proven compliance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and develop teams.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, regulatory reporting, and incident analysis; CSP certification is preferred.
