What You’ll Do
- Own and independently lead our packaging efforts
- Perform tradeoff analysis between manufacturing processes, complexity, volumes, cost, and timelines
- Detailed design and CAD of components, assemblies, and tooling; including:
- Master modeling, space claims, and systems engineering
- Sealing approach and validation strategies
- Multi-board PCB design and interconnects
- PCB review
- Move independently and fast
- Manage outside contractors as necessary
- 5+ years of experience packaging handheld consumer or industrial electronics (as described above)
- You’ve worked on projects from start to production ramp
- Ability to be onsite daily. Expected location:
Kent, WA or nearby
