• Experienced Designer/Drafter that has minimum of 3-5 years experience in Solid Edge Computer Aided Design (CAD) (required).
• Must be familiar with manipulating solid models and preparing 2-D drawings from models in the Solid Edge environment.
• Must have experience and demonstrated skills in Configuration Management practices for technical models, drawings, and documents.
• Temp team member will be creating, updating, and manipulating 3-D solid models and preparing formal engineering drawings using drawings templates under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Drawings will be created from a combination of 3-D solid models, existing drawings that need to be updated, physical on-hand parts, photographs, engineering sketches, and working prototype parts and assemblies, using a standard drawing template.
• Typical parts will include mechanical parts, electrical cables and connectors, and outline-and-installation drawings for electrical circuit card assemblies.
• Will require some knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and experience with mechanical, electric, electronic, and electro-mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Mechanical Engineering background would be beneficial, but not required.
