Key Responsibilities
- Works with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑management solutions.
- Recommends banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and makes referrals to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
- Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial‑center clientele.
- Current Series 7 and 66 licenses (or holds 63/65 in lieu of 66 within 60 days of hiring).
- Minimum one year of experience working in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Ability to set and accomplish goals, nurture relationships, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently, manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities.
- Minimum one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
- Obtained insurance licenses.
- Client experience and branding.
- Client solutions, advisory, and investment management.
- Pipeline management, referral management, and client management.
- Portfolio management, prospecting, referral identification, business acumen, executive presence, oral communication, risk management, and trading.
- Position may involve residential mortgage loan origination and therefore requires SAFE Act registration, background check, and ongoing compliance with all registration requirements.
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

LocationUS – DC – Washington – 1800 K St NW (DC1842); 3100 14th St NW – Columbia Heights BC (DC1833).
PayPay range $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 annualized salary, determined by experience, education, and skill set.
Eligible for additional formulaic incentive plan, based on performance against defined metrics.
