About the Role:
As a Capital Markets Senior Financial Analyst at CBRE, you will support senior brokers on buy/sell transactions, financings, and real estate purchases/dispositions (collectively, the "Transactions"). You will perform financial underwriting, due diligence coordination, and market analysis while partnering with brokers, legal counsel, and sometimes third-party consultants to execute complex auto dealership real estate transactions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
What You'll Do- Perform financial underwriting, valuation analyses, and cash flow modeling for the Transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial analyses, including cash flow tables and other financial content incorporated into Offering Memorandums and client deliverables.
- Analyze dealership financial statements, market data, and real estate fundamentals to support underwriting and strategic investment recommendations.
- Coordinate and manage all phases of transaction due diligence by tracking critical milestones, deliverables, contractual obligations, environmental reports, title, survey, zoning, property condition assessments, estoppels, SNDAs, and closing requirements to ensure transactions remain on schedule.
- Maintain accurate transaction pipeline data and financial inputs within Connector Pro, Navigator and other systems, including voucher management to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Assist with business development research and maintaining client and pipeline databases.
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with 2-5 years of relevant commercial real estate, finance, investment, underwriting, or transaction management experience.
- DC, MD, or VA real estate salesperson license required within a specified time after hire.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, accounting principles, financial underwriting, and valuation methodologies.
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, portfolio management, commercial real estate underwriting, or credit analysis preferred.
- Experience coordinating commercial real estate due diligence, including review of environmental reports, title, survey, zoning, lease documentation, and other transaction-related deliverables.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and client presentation development.
- Experience maintaining transaction databases, financial reporting systems, or CRM platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple transaction timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across brokers, clients, legal counsel, and other internal and external stakeholders.
