The State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) Program Manager leads federal Department of Justice grant administration for Washington's SCIP allocation within the Office of Firearm Safety and Violence Prevention. The role manages program design, implementation, and compliance for violence intervention initiatives while coordinating with federal agencies, community partners, and grantees. Responsibilities include federal grant administration, budget management, technical assistance, monitoring, and developing statewide strategies to reduce firearm violence and support historically marginalized communities.
Keyqualifications
- Seven years combined experience in community/victims' advocacy, project management, or public safety programs
- Two or more areas: technical assistance, training development, program/contract management, or policy development
- High-level interpersonal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience with federal grant or contract writing/management (preferred)
- Lived or professional experience in victims' services, law enforcement, or criminal legal system (preferred)
