Thornhills Medical Practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong clinical knowledge and previous experience in clinical administration to contribute to the smooth running of a busy GP practice.

• Accurately read‑coding clinical information into patient records
• Extracting and entering clinical data from correspondence
• Monitoring and maintaining QOF targets and recall systems
• Running clinical searches and supporting audit processes
• Summarising incoming patient notes
• Ensuring all clinical data is processed efficiently, accurately and in line with practice protocols

• Previous experience in clinical administration (essential)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical processes
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good IT skills and experience using clinical systems (EMIS experience desirable)
