We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and clinically strong Physical Therapist to join our team full-time and help support care delivery across both our Kent and Silverdale offices. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, establishing individualized plans of care, delivering evidence-based treatment, supervising support personnel as appropriate, and documenting progress accurately and efficiently. This therapist will help treat a mixed caseload with an emphasis on general orthopedic and work-related injuries, while also supporting return-to-work goals and communicating with referral sources and other stakeholders when needed.
This position is intended to support both the Kent and Silverdale clinics, and some travel between locations may be required based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic operations.
EssentialJob Duties
- Perform thorough initial evaluations and re-evaluations for orthopedic and work-related conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient presentation, functional goals, job demands, and evidence-based practice.
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and patient education.
- Progress patients appropriately based on objective findings, tolerance, and return-to-function goals.
- Treat patients with a strong focus on restoring function, improving activity tolerance, and facilitating safe return to work.
- Collaborate with referring providers, case managers, vocational counselors, employers, and other team members when clinically appropriate to support coordinated care.
- Document all evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in a timely, accurate, and defensible manner.
- Supervise PTAs and support staff in accordance with Washington State practice standards and clinic expectations.
