Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care:
  Assist clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Companionship:
  Offer emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations to improve clients’ quality of life
• Household Tasks:
  Handle light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
• Medication Management:
  Help clients with medication administration as outlined in their care plan
• Mobility Assistance:
  Provide support with moving around their home and attending appointments or social activities
• Health Monitoring:
  Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Emergency Response:
  Act promptly and appropriately in emergency situations to safeguard clients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential, as full training is provided
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to support individuals in need
• Reliability: A strong sense of responsibility and dependability
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to adapt to different client needs and work schedules
• Transportation: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous but not mandatory
• Compliance:
  Willingness to undergo a DBS check
