Certified Surgical Technologist We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support the surgical team by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting with safe and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare the operating room, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention and safety standards.
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Perform accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies.
- Assist with specimen handling and proper labeling according to established procedures.
- Clean, organize, and restock the operating room after procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current CST certification as applicable.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous Operating Room or surgical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, communication, and teamwork skills.
