Banquet Captain; PT

FLAS Status: PT Hourly/Non Exempt

Pay Rate: $25.00 hourly

SUMMARY:

ASM Global and Savor, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Banquet Captain at accesso Sho Ware Center in Kent. This position is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Directors with the operation of the Front of House catering functions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:

• Supports Food & Beverage Directors in all activities surrounding guest functions to comply with function contracts and accesso Sho Ware Center standards.
• Trains new employees on accesso Sho Ware Center processes and procedures.
• Supervises Front of House catering staff, providing direction and support where needed.
• Ensures a clean and safe working environment.
• Effectively handles guest concerns as they arise.
• Responsible for accurate billing and close out procedures at the end of assigned functions.
• Confidently anticipates and responds to needs and expectations of our guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a banquet setting required; arena experience preferred.
• Computer and POS system proficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass background and credit check.
