**** Position Summary
** The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting and executing all aspects of arena food and beverage operations, including concessions, luxury suites, premium hospitality and catering services. This role supports the Director of Food and Beverage in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency, financial performance and team development.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in high volume event operations and premium service environments.
** Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
*** Lead day-to-day food and beverage operations for concerts, sporting events, family shows, graduations and special events.
* Oversee execution across concessions, suites, clubs, bars and catering operations.
* Ensure operational readiness before, during and after all events.
* Support catering operations for private events, meetings, receptions, banquets and arena functions.
* Oversee Food & Beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction and quality control standards.
* Analyze information concerning facility operations such as daily food sales, patron attendance, and labor costs to prepare budget and to maintain cost control of facility operations.
* Inspect food service facilities to ensure equipment and building meet state, local health laws and internal regulations
* Maintain cost and quality control standards and reviews inventory controls with Food and Beverage staff.
* Support implementation of sales initiatives, promotions, and guest engagement programs.
* Enforce all liquor laws & adhere to all health dept regulations.
* Provide the highest level of customer service excellence.
* Follows all rules and regulations which apply to the food and beverage operations and to Legends Global Food and Beverage Division.
* Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (including other departments).
* This position requires the ability to work flexible, sometimes long hours which include nights, weekends, and holidays.
** Education and/or Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree in food & Beverage Management or related field desired
* Minimum 5 years industry experience in management level position with three (3) of those years in a management function in an arena, convention center or stadium; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience in POS systems, inventory systems, scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Preferred experience in venues with capacities of 5,000+.
** Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
*** Must have current Washington State Liquor License
* Food handler certificate required from Health Department.
* Must obtain Serv Safe Manager, Serv Safe Alcohol and Serv Safe Allergen certifications as required by Legends Global Food and Beverage Division.
