Food and Beverage Manager

FLSA Status: PT Hourly Non-Exempt

Payrate: $30–$32 DOE

Position Summary

The Food and Beverage Manager supports and executes all aspects of arena food and beverage operations, including concessions, luxury suites, premium hospitality and catering services. This role supports the Director of Food and Beverage in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency, financial performance and team development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead day‑to‑day food and beverage operations for concerts, sporting events, family shows, graduations and special events.
  • Oversee execution across concessions, suites, clubs, bars and catering operations.
  • Ensure operational readiness before, during and after all events.
  • Support catering operations for private events, meetings, receptions, banquets and arena functions.
  • Oversee food and beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction and quality control standards.
  • Analyze information concerning facility operations such as daily food sales, patron attendance and labor costs to prepare budget and maintain cost control.
  • Inspect food service facilities to ensure equipment and building meet state, local health laws and internal regulations.
  • Maintain cost and quality control standards and review inventory controls with food and beverage staff.
  • Support implementation of sales initiatives, promotions and guest engagement programs.
  • Enforce liquor laws and adhere to all health department regulations.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service excellence.
  • Follow all rules and regulations applicable to food and beverage operations and Legends Global Food and Beverage Division.
  • Maintain a cooperative, team‑like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (including other departments).
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Management or related field desired. Minimum 5years industry experience in a management level position with three (3) years in a management function in an arena, convention center or stadium; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with POS systems, inventory systems, scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have current Washington State Liquor License. Food handler certificate required from Health Department. Must obtain Serv Safe Manager, Serv Safe Alcohol and Serv Safe Allergen certifications as required by Legends Global Food and Beverage Division.

  • Work effectively under pressure and on stringent schedules to produce accurate results.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands

The physical demands include moving around the facility, standing for long hours during events, talking and hearing. Work may be inside or outside the building as needed for events. Requires ability to lift and/or move up to 50pounds, sustained standing or sitting, and tolerance of moderate to loud noise.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to join the 401K after 1year and 1000 hours of service. Working holidays are paid at time and a half. Sick time is accrued at 1 hour for every 30 worked and can be used in 2‑hour increments or more. Employees and family are eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision benefits after completing 1560 hours in a 365‑day time frame.
