ABOUT THE POSITIONThis position is responsible for providing general Human Resources administrative support, including but not limited to ensuring the accuracy of information in the Human Resources Information System, coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation, maintenance of employee files, coordination of employee communication and HR related programs and events.
What You’ll Do- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, helping employees feel welcomed from day one
- Maintain employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements
- Support employee communications, including HR announcements and updates
- Assist with the planning and coordination of HR programs, initiatives, and employee events
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Onsite position
WAGESalary range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00 per hour, subject to all required taxes and with holdings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain the Human Resource Information System (ADP) with accurate information including new hires, status changes, rate changes, terminations, etc.
- Coordinate pre‑employment checks and coordinate new hire paperwork, including completion of I‑9 and verification of I‑9 documentation
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations
- Maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy of active/terminated files and contents; verify all new hire forms are received and ensure compliance with federal guidelines and company requirements
- Maintain I‑9 files, ensuring compliance with federal requirements
- Provide general employee and management support through answering questions pertaining to HR related topics
- Plan and create content for internal communications mediums, such as the company intranet, bulletin boards, newsletters, or email
- Coordinate the teammate recognition programs
- Maintain HR site on company intranet
- Perform general reporting and analytics as requested
- Perform clerical functions and support the HR team on various projects and initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field preferred
- aPHR, PHR or SHRM‑CP certification preferred
- 1 – 2 years of administrative experience with administrative HR duties preferred
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
- General knowledge of Human Resources processes, state and federal laws and regulations
- Microsoft Office applications at a medium to expert level
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Self‑starter with motivation to meet deadlines
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong customer service orientation
