Systems Administrator
Are you looking to leverage your experience in Zero Trust Architectures (ZTA) and virtualization to safeguard our nation? In this role you will design, implement, and manage security solutions for complex, high‑value networks, working collaboratively with customers and stakeholders across the enterprise.
Responsibilities- Develop relationships with internal teams and senior management to communicate security challenges and solutions.
- Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including advanced detection, vulnerability management, and event correlation.
- Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application layers.
- Leverage big‑data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats and indicators of compromise.
- Apply Zero Trust principles to assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls for integrated air defense operations.
- Experience with Zero Trust tools such as Cyber Arc, Forcepoint, and Palo Alto.
- Experience with hypervisor platforms such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
- Knowledge of private‑cloud infrastructure and closed‑environment cybersecurity tools.
- Ability to develop, engineer, implement, integrate, and sustain ZTA and virtualized infrastructures.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent, or Security+ certification.
- Experience in Dev Sec Ops , engineering, and market research.
- Knowledge of DoD systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Hyper Convergence Infrastructures (HCI).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization tools.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
- Applicants selected for the position will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.
$77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD) – the exact amount depends on location, experience, and other factors.
