Supply Chain Analyst – Hybrid Fridays/Onsite 4 days
Location:
Kent, WA (must currently live in the greater Seattle area).
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail‑oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support Oberto's end‑to‑end supply chain operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time while optimizing inventory, transportation, and operational performance across our manufacturing and distribution network.
The Supply Chain Analyst will partner closely with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers to maintain inventory accuracy, improve service levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers broad exposure to inventory management, transportation, distribution, forecasting support, and supply chain analytics while helping ensure Oberto continues delivering exceptional service to customers.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Manage inventory levels across manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and third‑party logistics partners to maximize product availability while minimizing excess inventory and waste.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across warehouses and 3PL partners.
- Monitor inventory health by reviewing Days of Supply, inventory aging, slow‑moving inventory, and potential shelf‑life risks.
- Monitor carrier performance against service level agreements, on‑time delivery expectations, freight costs, and customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with warehousing, customer service, and demand planning teams to align inventory and transportation needs with business goals.
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems and transportation data to identify freight savings opportunities, improve routing efficiency, and optimize carrier performance.
- Monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, cost per lb, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, Days of Supply.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and company systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency, service levels, and inventory accuracy.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or related field.
- 0‑3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, operations, customer service, or a related field.
- Experience working with major retailers or e‑commerce channels (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Amazon, Target).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with TMS/ERP software.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Physical work includes climbing stairs, handling objects under 25 lbs, operating office and production floor equipment, and working in varied temperature environments.
- Ability to frequently talk, hear, smell, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
