Warehouse​/Shop Lead

Glass Doctor has been the market leader in providing Fast and Friendly Glass Installation and Repair Services to Western Washington since 1962. We are growing fast and looking to add a Warehouse/Shop Lead to our Kent location. The Warehouse/Shop Lead will work with the Shop and General Managers to improve overall warehouse organization and flow; load and offload glass; clean, rack and inspect all incoming glass for defects and workmanship; order and keep materials stocked at all times; learn and master the supplies needed for different types of glass installations, in order to be effective in preparing for next day’s routes;

work closely with the Dispatcher to stage next day’s routes; be responsible for checking tools in and out of the supply cage; inventory tracking with software program; assist glaziers when necessary; and manage glass deliveries when needed.

• Experience in glass handling preferred.
• Good driving record and insurable.
• Able to safely lift up to 75lbs daily.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and drive for constant improvement.
• Ability to embrace and thrive in a very-fast moving environment.
• Able to manage time effectively with little to no supervision.
• Enjoys organizing and tracking parts and materials.
• Has vision and process to improve the stocking and flow of a warehouse.
• Exemplify our code of values, showing respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
• Schedule and track vehicle maintenance for technicians.

Compensation: $18-$22 per hour DOE
