Family Resource Center Manager

Provides leadership and directs the operations of multiple Akin Family Resource Center (FRC) locations within an assigned region. Oversees day-to-day operations across two to three sites and is responsible for coordinating staffing, scheduling, and resource distribution to ensure consistent service delivery and coverage across locations. Directly supervises, assists, and supports FRC teams and related administrative functions across multiple sites.

Builds and maintains strong community visibility and partnerships across the region through active participation in appropriate provider organizations and funding bodies. Ensures effective and efficient utilization of personnel, fiscal resources, and facilities, and monitors program performance. Develops and implements a regional strategic plan aligned with the agency plan and ensures priorities are carried out consistently across all assigned sites.

Has access to protected healthcare information (PHI) or confidential identifiable information (CII), both paper and electronic, as necessary, to perform related job duties and responsibilities.

Essential functions include promoting service activities and Akin visibility through community activities across the assigned region, promoting Akin advocacy and systems change goals in coalitions, advocacy groups, and professional groups, working with the Finance and Accounting team to monitor community and site-level budgets across assigned locations, providing on-site leadership, oversight, and operational management across multiple Family Resource Center locations, ensuring consistent implementation of Akin policies, procedures, and performance standards across all assigned sites, monitoring all funding and other contracts for compliance, concerns, and opportunities and informing appropriate Akin leadership of any pertinent information, coordinating and implementing planning and evaluation of programs and assisting with research projects, ensuring that all records and statistics for assigned sites are accurately maintained and reported, coordinating staffing, scheduling, and coverage across sites to meet service needs, minimizing service disruptions, and maximizing shared resources, allocating staffing and operational resources across sites based on regional priorities, service demand, and staffing capacity, supporting continuity of services during staffing gaps, transitions, or unexpected absences through cross-site coordination, identifying operational gaps or capacity challenges across sites and escalating resource needs to appropriate leadership, fostering collaboration and communication between sites to promote shared learning, best practices, and continuous improvement, conducting regular site visits to monitor performance, compliance, employee engagement, and consistency of service delivery, participating in administrative activities, including leadership team meetings, management meetings, and facility planning, assisting the Director of Community Engagement with community activities related to resource development, including the development of grants, foundations, and public and private contracts, supervising facilities management for assigned sites, including maintenance, lease coordination, and capital improvements, in partnership with the Director of Facilities, developing and implementing a regional strategic plan aligned with agency priorities and ensuring execution across all assigned sites, providing leadership, direction, and supervision to employees across multiple Family Resource Center locations within the assigned region, coordinating staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational needs across locations, maintaining regular supervisory meetings with employees to review work assignments, performance, and professional development, supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of employees across multiple sites, maintaining a working knowledge of service activities and, in partnership with employees, implementing best-practice standards, completing annual performance evaluations and supporting performance management, coaching, and corrective action as needed, possessing strong human relations skills to communicate and work effectively within a culturally diverse work environment and community.
