- Ensure overall quality of care, supervision, and safety of SAILS Washington’s clients.
- Provide oversight, training, analysis, and leadership to all residential supervisors on all aspects of facility operations.
- Work closely with the Program Management team to ensure that the facilities meet all areas of compliance.
- Ensure implementation of staff schedules across the program.
- Review and submit payroll.
- Approve and sign Program Manager’s mileage forms.
- Approve and submit Program Manager’s PTO and vacations.
- Conduct weekly meetings with the Client Care Committee to communicate any changes and review facility operations.
- Provide guidance and direction to House Managers on the management of challenging issues and relationships with staff and guardians.
- Review and follow up on Program Managers & House Managers Weekly Report.
- Submit a weekly report with the status of each area to the Washington Residential Director and Executive Director.
- Oversee placement of new hires, interviews, staffing needs, on-site training (if needed), and effectiveness of peer coaching.
- Ensure staff receive initial and continuous training.
- Cooperate with HR in investigations due to any staff issue or complaint.
- Attend all PCSP meetings for behavioral/challenging clients and any other required meetings.
- Review with the behavior team after PBSP meetings regarding challenging/high behavioral clients to stay updated on concerns.
- Conduct supervisors’ performance reviews.
- Review incident reports (IRs) and track them.
- Ensure that client activities and outings, including special events such as holiday parties, birthdays, and community events, are planned and regularly scheduled.
- Complete Monthly Quick Checks for each program.
- Meet with the Compliance team to maintain Quality Assurance of each program.
- Ensure that policies are followed and clients receive necessary services.
- Ensure client annual plans, Individual Plans, Positive Behavior Support Plans, Refusal of Services Plans, and Restrictive Procedure Plans are written within required timelines.
- Work with the Behavior Support Team to ensure behavior data is collected, reviewed, and analyzed every six months to track behaviors and effectively implement plans.
- Ensure semi-annual plan reviews are completed with Program Supervisors and the Behavior Team to achieve client goals.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, clients, families, guardians, and other agencies involved in clients’ care and support.
