Position: Operations Lead (Internal)

At Arux Group, we protect what matters most: our people, our property, and our community. We are looking for an experienced operational leader who can bring structure, accountability, and momentum to our day-to-day operations across every program we run.

If you have a track record of leading teams, managing complex schedules, and driving process improvement in a fast-paced, compliance-heavy environment, this is your opportunity to lead operations for Arux Group across our Corso, Fossa, and Merlin programs.

What You Will Do
  • Oversee all company operations across the Corso (Static Site Security), Fossa (Executive Protection), and Merlin (Private Investigation) programs.
  • Work with the Operations Coordinator to manage the company schedule, specialist staffing, work assignments, and related operational tasks.
  • Manage full-cycle hiring, onboarding, disciplinary actions, and termination processes for specialists and operational staff in accordance with company policy and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Oversee and maintain HR systems and processes related to employee records, scheduling, certifications, compliance tracking, and personnel management.
  • Manage compliance, including licensing and certifications, to ensure specialists meet eligibility requirements for work in each state.
  • Coordinate with the training program on recertifications and ongoing eligibility for specialists.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of company initiatives.
  • Draw on relationships with program heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions on operational activity that align with strategic company goals and vision.
  • Devise strategies to grow all company programs and implement process improvements that maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Adhere to company policies and standards, and ensure laws, regulations, and compliance are being followed.
  • Be willing and able to assist with field duties as needed to ensure no dark hours (open shifts).
Schedule

Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, or field support as required to meet operational demands. We work to support work-life balance where possible while meeting client and company needs.

Who We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state-issued armed security officer license (OR/WA/) and CPL.
  • Must possess armed certifications in all states in which Arux Group operates.
  • Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred.
  • Proven experience in an operational leadership or management role, with a track record of successful process improvement and team management.
  • Experience with HR systems, hiring/termination processes, and personnel management preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with company executives, the Operations Coordinator, and other departments and leaders.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and operational standards, including licensing and compliance requirements across relevant states.
  • Must obtain OR DPSST Supervisory Manager certification within 90 days of hire.

This role reports directly to the CEO and carries direct supervisory responsibility over the Operations Coordinator. You'll be the operational backbone connecting our Corso, Fossa, and Merlin programs, with a direct line to leadership and real ownership over how the company runs day to day.

Why Join Arux Group

As Operations Lead, you'll sit at the center of everything Arux Group does. You'll have direct access to executive leadership, ownership over operational strategy, and the opportunity to shape how we scale across all three programs.

Compensation
  • $80,200/year flat annual salary, including through the 90-day probationary period.
  • Annual review period.

We invest in our people with ongoing training, professional development, and a culture built on tenacity, integrity, innovation, and courage. Join a team where your leadership directly shapes company success and growth.
