Hire Quest Northwest is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to help lead and grow our Kent branch.
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management position.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing business, solving problems, leading people, and jumping into the action when needed. You will work alongside branch leadership to grow client relationships, support daily operations, develop our workforce, and help drive the branch's overall success.
For the right person, this role is also an opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to eventually lead a branch of your own.
What You'll DoDrive Business Growth
- Prospect and develop new client relationships
- Conduct outbound sales calls, client visits, and follow-up
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts
- Participate in networking and business development activities
- Help achieve branch sales, revenue, and performance goals
- Support the day-to-day leadership of the Kent team
- Coach and develop Recruiting & Staffing Coordinator and Field Team Members
- Help set priorities and keep the team focused on results
- Step into branch leadership responsibilities when needed
- Lead by example with accountability, flexibility, and follow-through
- Recruit, interview, and onboard qualified Field Team Members
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates
- Support hiring events, job fairs, and community recruiting
- Help ensure employees are prepared and ready for successful assignments
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Respond quickly to staffing needs and service issues
- Participate in client meetings and job site visits
- Follow through on commitments and help strengthen client retention
- Support scheduling, dispatch, staffing, payroll, billing, and documentation
- Help monitor branch KPIs and operational performance
- Support safety, compliance, and workers' compensation processes
- Identify problems, find solutions, and step in wherever the branch needs leadership
- 2+ years of experience in leadership, supervising, or managing preferred
- Business development or customer relationship experience
- Confidence making outbound calls and developing new business
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and support others
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- A solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to take ownership
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment where the day does not always go according to plan
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours when business needs require it

Compensation & BenefitsHourly: $23.00 to $25.00
Additional Compensation:
Eligible for performance-based commission and/or bonus opportunities.
