Quality Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Ensure work area is safe, organized and clean
• Ensure all measurement equipment is operational and calibrated
• Verify incoming material and components; (Cert verification/visual condition/physical measurements)
• Performs FAI in accordance with AS9102C
• First part verification
• Performs in process inspection
• Final inspection prior to shipping to end customer
• Documents inspection results
• Collaborate with production team on quality related issues

• Proficient in the use of measuring tools

• MS Office products Experience
• Ability to read, write, and converse in English

• 3-5 years experience in inspection role
• 2+ years related experience within sheet metal manufacturing environment or 5+ years related experience within a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with and working knowledge of ISO, AS standards and specifications.

• Knowledge of basic statistical process control

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Must be able to lift forty pounds without assistance on occasions
• Must be able to sit, stand and move around continuously
