Packhouse Forklift Driver

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that Packhouse are supplied with correct stock to ensure continuous production including crates, boxes, pallets. Ensuring that the working area is kept clean and tidy, and Health & Safety procedures adhered to at all times.

• Must complete Pre-start fork lift checks at the start of shift.
• Must hold a current forklift license with relevant internal assessments undertaken as required.
• Appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.
• Comply with all relevant Health & Safety procedures. Including (but not limited to the following) adherence to speed limits, keys not to be left on in fork lift when not in use, using the horn as appropriate, using draw cords when entering/leaving areas etc.
• Report to the relevant area at start of shift for daily tasks.
• Ensure correct stock is collected/loaded by checking against Stock sheet or Fruit order sheet.
• Responsible for your own and others Health and safety within your area of work.
• Ensure clean condition of MHE.
• Any damage found or caused must be reported to the manager immediately.

• Basic level of English
• Understanding of Maths
• FLT Licence
• Previous experience working within a similar role within the fruit industry
