Job Description

  • Continuous improvement: evaluate, monitor, or escape a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream. Contingent worker must support root‑cause analysis and provide problem‑solving details.
  • Proper use of equipment: possess fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts. Understand operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices of such machinery and must be able to operate any equipment needed to move heavy parts/material throughout the facilities (e.g., electronic pallet jacks, forklifts, reach‑trucks, turret‑trucks).
  • Receive shipments: unload shipments delivered by carriers.
  • Inspect shipments: visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine acceptability according to a standard operating procedure.
  • Quality control checks: review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure.
  • Documenting receipts: use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to completely close out a receipt or work order.
  • Data entry: navigate and select fields within an inventory management tool to input data directly from the physical delivery of a part; read information as needed for a specific task of Fulfillment.
  • Packaging: identify appropriate packaging for parts, wrap/store parts properly at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow.
  • Sorting and staging: move packages/boxes/crates/any storage container identified and secure to prevent loss within the workflow.
  • Labeling and marking: ensure all parts are properly labeled with identifiers outlined in the standard operating procedure for tracking throughout the workflow.
  • Storage assignment/auditing: properly store and use good judgment along with the standard operating procedure for the storage of parts that could be individual or in bulk; audit per a standard operating procedure.

Skills and Requirements
  • 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
  • Safety is a top priority; strictly adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Attitude of world‑class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
  • Communication skills in a highly technical environment.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions.
  • Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Previous certified forklift experience.
  • Work at least 45 hrs per week; opportunity to work 50–55 hrs per week.
