Operations Engineer, Production Manager, Quality Engineering, Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead production employees on the 1st shift in a food manufacturing environment while driving process improvements, meeting production KPI goals, and fostering a culture centered around safety, quality, cost, and engagement. You will guide daily operations, manage resources, and support an environment that reinforces operational excellence.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple production lines within the cell to maintain expectations for quality, productivity, and cost.
- Train and develop team members to support effective performance of job responsibilities.
- Support sanitation operations to help maintain a clean and food‑safe facility.
- Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures on a consistent basis.
- Review team performance and provide coaching to support improvement and development.
- Promote compliance with safety programs, including lock‑out/tag‑out, personal protective equipment, and confined space guidelines.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are maintained or exceeded.
- Lead projects involving root‑cause analysis and guide Kaizen events to support sustainable process improvements.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in food processing preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and plant safety standards.
- Familiarity with SAP and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, TPM).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Willing to work weekends and flexible hours based on the needs of the operation.
- Self‑motivated work approach with a strong work ethic and proven record leading teams and managing multiple priorities.

Compensation
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
