Operate and oversee multiple stages of the galvanizing line, including payoff systems, cleaning sections, zinc baths, cooling units, and wire-winding equipment;
Load raw wire into the line and maintain consistent flow throughout the process;
Examine wire for correct coating thickness, surface quality, zinc adhesion, and overall diameter accuracy;
Make machine adjustments such as regulating temperature, line speed, tension, and coating parameters to stay within spec;
Safely handle materials such as zinc ingots, flux, and production additives
