Position Summary
Experienced Tool & Die Machinist (Aerospace) – Day Shift.
Operate CNC or manual machines to manufacture, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and machine components. Responsible for reading blueprints, interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances, setting up and operating manual and CNC machines, and using precision measuring instruments to ensure exact specifications are met.
Key Responsibilities- Perform well‑defined setups and non‑complex operations using CNC on manual machines.
- Complete projects with varying diversity to support production operations or job shop machining.
- Detect faulty processes and provide input for resolution.
- Interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings, and documents.
- Use precision instruments to check tolerances and quality of parts.
- Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning and paperless timecard system.
- Demonstrate basic operations to others with supervisor approval as needed.
- Work under direct oversight.
- Reads and understands manufacturing planning, sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and symbols.
- Understands proper setup and use of tooling associated with machines.
- Familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments, and good manual dexterity.
- Performs shop mathematics associated with machining.
- May have demonstrated expertise in a particular machine type or work on a single‑purpose machine involving multiple machining processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
Sit, stand, and/or walk for 8 hours per day. Occasionally lift items that could be up to 25 pounds.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule- Pay Range: $26.90 – $34.35 per hour
