This role is ideal for someone who has grown up fixing things; whether in a manufacturing plant, a family farm, construction sites, maintenance shops, or similar hands-on environments, and is comfortable working with motors, controls, and equipment that doesn’t come with a manual solution.

You will work with motor control systems, PLC-connected equipment, VFDs, and both high- and low-voltage systems, supporting manufacturing and facility automation through practical problem solving and reliability improvements.

Why Join Us?
  • Hands‑on work with complex, real‑world equipment.
  • Environment that values practical experience and curiosity, not just formal credentials.
  • Supportive culture focused on safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities to grow technically and mentor others.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial motors, motor controls, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving PLC‑connected equipment, VFDs, and 3‑phase power systems.
  • Produce clear, organized, and referenced electrical schematics and documentation.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Apply systematic troubleshooting methods to identify root causes, not just symptoms.
  • Support upgrades, retrofits, and equipment improvements in partnership with engineering and operations.
  • Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Assist with cross‑training and mentoring other maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain high ethical standards, even under pressure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Background & Experience
  • Industrial manufacturing or production facilities.
  • Family farming operations or agricultural equipment maintenance.
  • Construction, electrical trades, or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Field service, maintenance shops, or mechanical repair environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands‑on experience preferred.
  • 5+ years in an industrial or heavy equipment environment strongly preferred.
  • We welcome candidates with non‑traditional career paths who can demonstrate strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with motors, motor starters, relays, contractors, sensors, and control wiring.
  • Familiarity with PLC‑controlled equipment and automated production systems.
  • Experience diagnosing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to use test equipment for troubleshooting, calibration, and verification.
  • Comfort working from schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with operators, engineers, and leadership.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Self‑starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence and train others.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to…
