Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM Hourly Rate: $26.00 an hour + $1.00 shift differential.
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead, you will support end‑to‑end warehouse and dock operations at the Kent, WA facility on 3rd shift. You will rotate across multiple workstations while operating automated equipment, managing dock flow, and supporting shipping, receiving, putaway, and material movement to keep finished goods and raw materials moving safely and efficiently across a large operational footprint.
Responsibilities- Rotate between four distinct workstations to support warehouse, dock, and material handling operations.
- Operate and monitor robotic equipment at the end of the production line that wraps finished goods, moves product to the dock, and knocks product off the line.
- Program and troubleshoot robotic systems to keep equipment running and minimize downtime.
- Support the mixing deck by staging and managing raw and packaging materials across a large operating area.
- Manage hog feed waste and support recycling activities, including broken pallets and empty barrels.
- Run dock operations by supporting shipping and receiving activities for inbound and outbound trailers.
- Complete inbound inspections for all incoming materials, including bulk flour and oil systems.
- Load and unload finished goods and raw materials from trailers using powered industrial equipment.
- Perform putaway of all materials coming off trailers and support cross‑dock movement of finished goods.
- Troubleshoot material flow issues and support dock‑side operations to maintain efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and escalate safety or operational concerns as needed.
- Support additional warehouse and distribution tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.
- Experience working with automated or robotic equipment preferred.
- Willingness to rotate between multiple workstations and work 3rd shift in an onsite environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support operational demand.
