Position Summary
As a Quality Inspector in the Exotic Metals Forming Division, you will inspect and check parts to ensure compliance with documents, standards, and customer requirements under the direction of certified inspectors or a supervisor. This role supports the production of aerospace solutions, ensuring part quality and safety.
Shift and ScheduleSwing shift:
Monday‑Thursday, 2:30 pm – 1:00 am.
- Complete training modules 1‑6 (Paperwork Review, Non‑Conformances, Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection, Visual Weld Inspection, Drawing Interpretation) or demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
- Visually inspect or check parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Verify dimensions and finishes against sketches, blueprints, manufacturing plans and specifications.
- Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic math and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with machine tools and precision instruments.
- Understanding of manufacturing planning and sketches.
- Willingness to seek help and understand limitations.
- Use protective equipment such as safety glasses, handheld devices, etc. to prevent injuries.
- Operate equipment safely and wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses/full‑face shield, hearing protection, heat‑reflective body garments, gloves as required.
All applicants must undergo drug testing as part of employment conditions.
Competitive Compensation- Pay range: $19.25 /hr to $24.25 /hr.
