Position: Press-fit Electronic Module (PEM) Machine OPerator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PEM Machine Operator to manage and operate our Press-fit Electronic Module (PEM) machines. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate assembly of electronic components, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor PEM machines to ensure precise insertion of press-fit components into printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic assemblies.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify that assembled components and finished products meet specifications and quality standards. Perform routine quality checks and calibrations.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on PEM machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve any machine malfunctions or issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered. Document changes to procedures and machine settings.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electronics or machinery operation is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience operating press-fit or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications. Proficient in adjusting machine settings and performing routine maintenance.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control in component assembly.
  • Problem‑Solving: Effective troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve mechanical and technical issues.
  • Communication: Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting production status.
