Materials Coordinator

The Materials Coordinator helps maintain an appropriate stock of all packaging items and ingredients such as olive and canola oils. They collaborate directly with vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to LOL's quality standards. The role reconciles purchase receipts within the ERP system and supports month‑end tasks to enable accurate financials for direct material purchases.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 7:00AM‑3:30PM (flexible, overtime as needed) | Pay: $28‑$30 per hour

• Sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
• Operate from an office, production floor, and warehouses as required.
• Adhere to all facility GMPs.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in purchasing and receiving related to direct materials inventory.
• Accurately monitor material entered in system applications.
• Enter transactional data promptly and accurately into JD Edwards, Ariba, and Excel spreadsheets.
• Perform full and spot check inventories; maintain a cycle‑counting schedule for quarterly and monthly counts.
• Enter work orders and purchase orders.
• Schedule inbound shipments.
• Maintain meticulous purchasing and delivery records; ensure all paperwork and forms are audit‑ready.
• Coordinate with departments on inventory adjustments.
• Collaborate with Operations and cross‑functional teams to assist in production planning.
• Train and become proficient in the ERP system and its functions.
• Communicate with vendors or product support.
• Attend occasional team meetings, provide value‑added input, voice concerns, and communicate information back to the department.
• Order routine or emergency finished‑goods parts and supplies; expedite delivery as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills across multiple organizational levels.
• Interact with Corporate Logistics and Planning as required.

• Some college education preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of food manufacturing experience.
• Experience with JDEdwards, Ariba, and Workday.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• GED/High School diploma required.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe).
• ERP experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
