Position:
Manufacturing Production Planner – Materials Planning & SIOP
Role Type:

- Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
- Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
- Supports planning of capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
- Works with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and defined capacity parameters.
- Participates in identifying and developing new tools to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, responsibility statements, and reliability.
- Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
- Creates and executes plan for every part, sub‑assembly, end item and other parts as required.
- Monitors the transportation and delivery of inter‑intra‑plant parts and outbound finished products.
- Tracks and manages inter‑intra‑plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on‑time delivery and flow.
- Supports command center and part shortage resolution.
- Monitors tracking and shipping; performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on‑time delivery of material.
- Mediates risks for short‑term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer delivery.
- Schedules and forecasts the right volumes of materials, goods and products inbound to the business from its supply chain companies.
- Monitors inventory levels against agreed target levels and creates inventory reports.
- Participates in and supports facilitation of cycle counts for raw materials, finished goods and WIP.
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing planning, production, supply chain and logistics.
- Experience in inventory control.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with multi‑discipline teams.
- Preferred aerospace industry experience.
