Woodshop Production Associate
Apply for this full‑time on site position at Closets by Design Tacoma in Kent, WA.
Compensation: $22 per hour.

Monday‑Friday schedule 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. No weekends. Stable, year‑round employment. Paid, hands‑on training including forklift certification. No woodshop or manufacturing experience required. Opportunities to learn new skills and grow.
What You'll Do- Help manufacture and prepare custom components for upcoming installations.
- Operate shop equipment as assigned and trained.
- Load, unload, organize, and move materials throughout the shop.
- Prepare and stage completed jobs for our Installation team.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and material handling.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work as part of a team to deliver quality products on time.
- Depending on production needs, become highly skilled in one area of the shop or learn multiple areas over time.
- Are dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Enjoy working with your hands and staying active throughout the day.
- Are mechanically inclined and enjoy learning new skills.
- Take pride in doing quality work.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Can safely lift and carry materials throughout the workday.
No previous woodshop or manufacturing experience is required. We hire for attitude, aptitude, and work ethic—not years of experience. If you're willing to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
