Position Summary
The Assembler Level 3 is responsible for assembling complex components and subassemblies into finished products while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Assemble components and subassemblies into completed products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform complex mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure they meet dimensional, visual, and quality specifications.
- Verify product acceptance using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor assembly or fit-up issues while maintaining product quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
- Handle materials and components carefully to prevent damage during the assembly process.
- Maintain measuring equipment in good working condition and use it in a manner that prevents damage or loss of calibration.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring lower-level assemblers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and written work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Manual dexterity required to handle small parts and operating hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
