Turner - Metalworking Specialist

We are hiring a skilled Turner to join our metalworking team in Washington

• Set up and operate lathes milling machines grinders drills and other machine tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations required
• Select appropriate cutting tools speeds and feeds for each job
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of dimensions
• Inspect finished products for defects or abnormalities
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and organized manner

• Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in the field of metalworking
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
• Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects

Salary $1000 per month negotiable based on experience

This is a full-time position with working hours from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday
